Aims of the serviceTo provide a useful service for all musicians. You might have noticed some adverts on the site. At the moment there are no paying advertisers but at some point in the future advertising may help to recoup the investment and time spent in developing, maintaining and promoting the site. How do I get a listing on the site?First you need to sign up to get an account, and then from your account page you can fill in your details, or your group's details. If you have any problems with signing up or have any questions about what it involves please get in touch at . HistoryThe listings were originally part of the Lancashire Students' Symphony Orchestra website and later moved to Sound-Recording.co.uk to allow easier maintenance. In January 2005 the listings moved to their current location and in the process transmogrified from 'flat file' to fully searchable database. The current site was developed by Robert Churchill in association with Tim Churchill. Improvements are continually being made to the site and we are open to as to how to make the service better.
