Classical brass quintet - 2 trumpets, french horn, trombone and tuba.

All 5 members are accomplished musicians who perform to a very high standard.

The NBQ formed in January 2001, the founding members being Phil Reckless (tpt) and Richard Walker (trb). The NBQ has performed at many venues and functions, including the 'Queens Stand' at the Epsom Derby, Newmarket Racecourse, private functions in Kensington & London, weddings, summer fairs, etc... The NBQ has a vast repertoire of music, playing all styles of music from classical to jazz. Many of the arrangements that the quintet performs have been written by Phil Reckless (tpt). The members of the NBQ all work as freelance musicians when not performing as an ensemble.
