Heather Leighton

Heather has just finished studying for a Master of Music degree at Goldsmiths College, University of London, where she received tuition from Sarah O’Flynn.
Whilst studying for her Bachelor of Music degree, Heather enjoyed playing principal flute with the Canterbury Christ Church University Orchestra. She also performed in the Wind Orchestra, flute choir, flute quartet, flute trio and wind quintet. In the last year she has also enjoyed playing principal flute in the Goldsmiths College Sinfonia, and playing in the Wind Band.
In addition, Heather has played in a number of musicals in Kent under the musical direction of Neil Sharp. She also enjoys organising concerts for charity events.

Heather has been teaching the flute and music theory for two years and thoroughly enjoys passing on her knowledge to other people. She has also been CRB checked.
Students are welcome from age seven upwards, complete beginners to Grade 8 standard. One off consultation lessons are also available.

Heather is available to perform at weddings, charity events, parties, meetings and other events.
