Initially a trained military drummer, Alan diversified into other percussion and later the full kit whilst in his teens. Experienced in most areas of playing to a high level, Alan has fronted his own jazz quintet, and was one of the co-founders of the successful folk/rock band "Fred's House", staying and touring with them for their first album release.

Besides this, Alan has also worked as a session musician on numerous recordings, and continues to perform in various show bands. He currently operates as a freelance drummer in co-operation with "Nein! Sushi Promotions".

As a drummer / percussionist, Alan is available for freelance playing / recording / teaching opportunities in the UK.
